The electronics and home appliances retail chain Olam HaKolnoa VeHaChashmal has announced the appointment of Daniel Bar Sadeh as its new Chief Executive Officer. Bar Sadeh, who served as the chain's VP of Marketing and Business Development for the past three years, takes the helm during a period of accelerated expansion.

Bar Sadeh holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and economics and has an extensive background in e-commerce management. Prior to joining the retail chain, he served for three years as CEO of the e-commerce sites YNETSHOPS and GETIT, where he led initiatives such as introducing SMART BIKE electric bicycle imports to Israel. In his previous role at Olam HaKolnoa VeHaChashmal, he spearheaded the brand's comprehensive rebranding campaign.

Strategic Expansion Plans

This appointment aligns with the chain's strategic plan to expand its nationwide footprint to 30 branches by the end of 2027. Operating on a lean and agile business model that facilitates parallel imports and competitive pricing, the chain also plans to enter new product categories, including work tools and gardening equipment. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on expanding its franchise model, particularly within the Arab sector.

Incoming CEO Daniel Bar Sadeh stated:

"After three years of building the brand and driving business development, stepping into the CEO role is both a closing of a circle and the start of a new path. Our lean and flexible business model enables us to offer Israeli consumers genuine price competition and eliminate middleman markups. Together with our team and franchisees, we will reach 30 branches nationwide and continue to expand our product range."
