Firefighters are operating at three fire sites in the Judea sector, while control has not yet been achieved over the fire near the settlement of Beit Dror in the southern Hebron Hills. About 14 teams are working on the spot in an effort to stop the spread of the fire, which is moving under the influence of the winds.

The Forum of Civil Society Organizations for the Prevention of Fires warns the government that the recent Ben Shemen forest fire is a reminder that Israel must prepare for a new reality of fires amid the climate crisis.
