NBA star Tyler Herro and his ex-partner Katya Elise Henry are locked in a bitter custody dispute involving legal filings over aggressive messaging and communication apps.
A new legal battle has erupted between NBA star Tyler Herro and his former partner, Katya Elise Henry, the mother of his two children. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Henry claims the Milwaukee Bucks guard has been sending her "aggressive and inappropriate" messages, prompting her to request a court-ordered communication app.
Custody Disputes and Relocation Tensions
Henry alleges that Herro takes an "unreasonable and irresponsible position," insisting that all communication regarding their children must go through his mother. She claims that when she attempts to speak with him directly, his responses are hostile and emotionally charged. The tension escalated significantly following Herro's move from the Miami Heat to the Milwaukee Bucks, which left Henry in Miami with the kids while Herro plays in Milwaukee.
"The respondent demands sudden increases in access that require complex travel arrangements, while failing to maintain respectful dialogue," stated legal filings submitted by Henry.
From Vegas Smiles to Courtroom Battles
The couple, who began dating in 2020 and split up in early 2025, were seen smiling together at the Las Vegas Summer League just a few months ago. However, custody and child support filings in September marked a sharp downturn in their relationship. Herro, 26, is a former Sixth Man of the Year and All-Star who was traded to Milwaukee in the summer of 2026 as part of a blockbuster deal.
