Leon Rosenberg Returns to the Stage: From Cyprus Real Estate to Eighties Pop
TV host Leon Rosenberg, who relocated to Cyprus after October 7, celebrated his triumphant return to the stage with the eighties show "Abitiz Forever" after nearly abandoning the dream.

Living in Cyprus since the October 7 events, media personality and TV host Leon Rosenberg has embraced a new chapter alongside his family. Far from the familiar studio lights of Keshet 12, where he once hosted morning shows with his wife Paula, he built a successful real estate investment business. Yet, a dormant dream continued to linger in the background.
The Return to the Stage
In a deeply personal post, Rosenberg recently celebrated his triumphant return to a packed house at the Grey Club with his show "Abitiz Forever". The project, originally crafted with immense dedication before the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent war, had faced endless setbacks and was nearly abandoned.
Reflecting on the dark months following the outbreak of the war, Rosenberg opened up about the emotional and financial toll.
"I was left without energy. Without a mood. And also without a livelihood," he shared, noting how trivial upbeat eighties music felt during a time of national grief. The turning point, however, arrived unexpectedly on a routine drive between Paphos and Larnaca.
A Spark on the Highway
While driving down the highway, the theme song from the film "Flashdance" randomly shuffled on his playlist. Despite having performed the track dozens of times, it was the first time he truly listened to the lyrics about a dream hidden by fear. He immediately called his club manager to lock in a date, reunited with his partner Oshri, and set the wheels in motion.
