El Niño

The US climate agency warns that there is a nearly 70% chance that the current ocean warming phenomenon will break all known records. A new report by the UN World Food Programme warns that the "El Niño" climate phenomenon could add 49 million people to the cycle of hunger, spike food prices, and exacerbate the crisis in 45 vulnerable countries.
