Thai authorities exhumed three Israelis and a British citizen from an unlicensed Jewish cemetery in Chachoengsao Province, relocating them to Chonburi as an official investigation opens into unauthorized burials.

Followers of the late Rabbi Shimon Gueta, who was murdered by a congregant, intend to build a memorial at his burial site. While the Chevra Kadisha initially allocated 24 plots, it is alleged that the followers seized 900. Police determined the matter should be resolved in civil court.

An investigation revealed that a giant "palace" is being built at the Netanya cemetery on burial plots stolen from the Chevra Kadisha. A tractor brought for demolition was burned, and officials warn: "It is better not to mess with them."

Unknown individuals maliciously vandalized the grave of Nahal reconnaissance medic Staff Sergeant Nir Hoffman, who was killed late last year in a car accident. A pen with a dedication was submerged in a memorial candle, and mementos from his friends were stolen.
