Man Critically Injured in Kiryat Ekron House Fire
A man in his 50s suffered critical injuries from severe smoke inhalation during a residential fire in Kiryat Ekron, with MDA paramedics evacuating him to Kaplan Medical Center.
A man in his 50s was critically injured Tuesday afternoon in a house fire on Amichai Street in Kiryat Ekron. Firefighters rescued the trapped victim, and MDA (Magen David Adom) medical teams evacuated him to Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot.
Upon arrival, firefighters identified heavy smoke pouring from the roof and deployed water lines to contain the flames. During complex searches in dense smoke, crews successfully rescued an uninjured cat from the apartment.
The fire was reported at 15:14. MDA paramedics performed life-saving resuscitation efforts, continuing advanced medical procedures during the emergency transport to the hospital.
