IDF Chief of Staff: Defending Soldiers Against Defamation is a National Mission

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stated that combating attempts to defame IDF soldiers and commanders is a national and international mission.

Speaking at a tribute event for donors of the Association for the Wellbeing of Soldiers, the Chief of Staff emphasized that the IDF remains committed to its values and international law despite deliberate attacks against civilians and rocket fire targeting city centers.

Zamir stressed that the military does everything possible to avoid harming innocent people while defending the nation against brutal, population-targeted assaults.
