US Deploys Military Transport Aircraft to Israel and Region Amid Iran Strike Preparations
The U.S. deployed 10 military transport aircraft to bases in Israel and the region amid preparations for a potential strike on Iran, as CENTCOM leadership briefs President Donald Trump on military options.

The United States transferred 10 military transport aircraft overnight to the Nevatim and Ovda airbases in southern Israel amid preparations for a potential strike on Iran. According to reports, additional American military aircraft were deployed to bases in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar as part of a broader expansion of the U.S. military presence in the region.
The transport planes took off from Fort Bliss in Texas, which houses a major U.S. Army air defense center equipped with interceptor missiles and air defense batteries. The exact cargo carried by the aircraft remains unconfirmed, and Washington has not issued an official statement regarding the deployment.
Meanwhile, the Wall Street Journal reported that General Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), briefed President Donald Trump on military options targeting Iran. The briefing suggests that Washington may be nearing a decision on launching a wide-scale military operation.
Democratic Senator Chris Murphy stated that he and several congressional colleagues received briefings on potential strike plans against Iran, which he described as reckless. He warned that such a military action could trigger a devastating escalation and undermine commitments to regional stability.
