Ari Weiss and Yosef Chaim Ida, United Hatzalah medics, stated: "We arrived quickly at the scene of the incident. We provided initial medical assistance at the scene to a man (about 30 years old) who was lightly wounded, and afterwards he was evacuated by a United Hatzalah ambulance to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, with his condition defined as light."
Jerusalem District Commander, Nitzav Avshalom Peled, arrived at the scene and held a special situation assessment. During the assessment, he heard the details of the incident from the fighters and praised them for their response, which he said led to a quick neutralization and prevented harm to civilians or our forces. Peled said: "The city of Jerusalem is safer than ever."
