Tuba-Zangaria Man Indicted for Threatening Family and Police With Knife

A 43-year-old resident of Tuba-Zangaria was indicted on Monday after threatening his family members and police officers with a knife during a violent incident on September 8.

According to the police, officers rushed to the suspect's home following reports that he was rampaging, breaking objects, and threatening his relatives. Upon arrival, the suspect locked himself inside the house and warned officers that anyone who approached or entered would be stabbed, briefly parting the curtain to brandish a knife at them.

Simultaneously, the suspect shouted threats at his family, declaring that he would stab them one by one. Police officers eventually forced entry into the home and arrested him, seizing two knives allegedly used in the incident.

The suspect's detention was repeatedly extended, and following the completion of the investigation, the prosecution unit filed a formal indictment against him at the Kiryat Shmona court.
