"You have blood on your hands": The confrontation between a pro-Israel broadcaster and Ms. Rachel

Popular children's star Rachel Griffin Accurso – known worldwide as "Ms. Rachel" – found herself at the center of a storm following a public verbal confrontation over her statements against Israel during the war.

Podcaster Avi Lichtschein revealed in the latest episode of his podcast, "Depends on the Context," that he encountered the YouTuber by chance while both were spending time with their children at a neighborhood park in the United States. Lichtschein did not hesitate, approached her, and asked her directly why she holds anti-Israel positions.

According to him, Accurso replied that she is not anti-Israel, but rather opposes the Israeli government and its leader, Benjamin Netanyahu. "I rejected that claim and said to her, 'That's absurd'," Lichtschein recalled. "To say that you are anti-Netanyahu but not anti-Israel? Netanyahu is the democratically elected leader of a sovereign nation. I think what she is doing goes far beyond that."

"How is this not genocide?"

The argument between the two heated up when Ms. Rachel repeated her claim that Israel is committing "genocide" in Gaza. "She said something along the lines of, 'Twenty thousand children have died. How is this not genocide?'" the podcaster recounted.

"My answer – and this is what I tried to convey to her – is that genocide is not simply a synonym for war. War is terrible, and again, Hamas started this war. Genocide is a specific accusation that she is leveling against the Jewish people and the State of Israel, and now it gives a 'green light' to open open season on Jews, literally, all over the world," Lichtschein emphasized.

During the confrontation, Accurso repeated several times the fact that her husband's father is Jewish, and emphasized that she supports the existence of a Jewish state and even considers herself a "Zionist." Despite this, Lichtschein did not spare harsh words, accusing her of "spreading a blood libel" and that "there is blood on her hands" because of her ignorance, moments before she turned and walked away.

After she left, Lichtschein turned to the internet star's husband and apologized for causing her emotional distress, but clarified that he does not retract his words. "Fox News" reached out to Ms. Rachel for a response, but has not yet received one.

"I didn't plan to change her mind," Lichtschein concluded the incident in a conversation with "Fox News." "I wanted to make it clear to her that her words are causing a lot of harm. Anyone who has such a huge audience also has a responsibility to understand what is happening as a direct result of the things they say. I don't think Rachel hates Jews, and I am sure that her activity stems from a place of genuine compassion for children, but I think she is very naive and gullible. She doesn't understand what her words are doing to the enemies of the Jewish people. What she is doing is offensive and dangerous."
