The 210th Division has completed extensive divisional exercises in the Golan Heights area and on the Syrian border, as part of an effort to increase operational readiness and maintain the competence of forces to deal with sudden and complex events.
All division forces participated in the exercise, alongside units from neighboring sectors and the Home Front Command, as well as heads of local authorities, emergency and rescue agencies, and other entities operating in the area.
During the exercise, dozens of different scenarios were practiced, including rescuing wounded in the field, handling mass casualty incidents, and medical evacuation. In addition, the forces practiced management, command, and control during combat, as well as cooperation between the various bodies.
The exercise also included the implementation of lessons learned from the fighting in all sectors, particularly from the events of October 7. Emphasis was placed on activating standby forces, employing fire, integrating special forces, and maintaining the alertness of all systems in the sector.
The IDF stated that exercises of this type will continue on a regular basis to strengthen the readiness of forces and cooperation between the bodies operating in the Golan Heights area.
