Third Eye Systems Unveils Iron Web Drone Defense for Armored Vehicles
Israeli defense company Third Eye Systems has unveiled its Iron Web drone detection system for armored vehicles, showcased at the Baku exhibition under the UAE's EDGE conglomerate.
The Israeli defense tech company Third Eye Systems announced the unveiling of its Iron Web system, which provides advanced drone detection capabilities for armored combat vehicles. The new product serves as a complementary detection and interception tool to the company's Argus Shield system, which provides 360-degree ground-level detection around armored vehicles.
The company is showcasing the integrated system at the 6th International Defense Exhibition in Baku, Azerbaijan. For the first time, the Israeli company is displaying its products at an international exhibition under the EDGE conglomerate from the United Arab Emirates.
Following a previous announcement earlier this month regarding an initial procurement and a non-binding memorandum of understanding for a strategic partnership with a major European manufacturer of combat vehicles and land defense systems, the technologies aim to integrate drone detection and neutralization systems to provide complete dome protection against fiber-optic and wireless drones.
The technological solution integrates Third Eye Systems' AI models with interception mechanisms by ParaZero Technologies, which uses targeted net deployment to neutralize hostile drones in the final layer of defense, offering a comprehensive solution for armored vehicles and critical infrastructure protection.
