Grandfather Charged in Tel Aviv Court with Repeated Abuse of Granddaughters
Prosecutors filed an indictment at the Tel Aviv District Court against a 59-year-old grandfather accused of repeatedly raping and abusing his three young granddaughters.

State prosecutors filed a severe indictment at the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday against a 59-year-old man from central Israel, charging him with repeated sexual offenses against three of his young granddaughters. According to the charges, the grandfather committed acts of rape and indecent acts on numerous occasions over an extended period. The offenses allegedly took place while the victims were between the ages of four and nine, exploiting their young age, their vulnerability, and their reliance on him as a close family member.
The indictment, submitted by Attorney Guy Gofman from the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office, details how the accused repeatedly targeted all three children over time. Alongside the indictment, prosecutors filed a motion asking the court to keep the defendant in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings against him.
To protect the identities of the victims and the accused, the court issued a comprehensive gag order prohibiting the publication of any details that could lead to their identification. Furthermore, the publication of the indictment itself and the detention request has been strictly limited to the official details provided by the prosecution's statement.
