A wedding celebration at a banquet hall in Tayibe ended in a mass brawl on Tuesday night, prompting police intervention, the halting of the festivities, and the arrest of five local suspects in their twenties. Authorities are now considering revoking the venue's operating license following the violent incident.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a female guest was lightly injured during the wedding after an object fell on her. She was evacuated for medical treatment, after which her family members arrived at the hall demanding entry. When they were refused, a violent altercation erupted between the family and guests, quickly escalating into a mass brawl.

Police officers from the Tayibe station in the Sharon region rushed to the scene following reports of the disturbance, working to break up the fight and separate the involved parties. Five suspects in their twenties from Tayibe were arrested during the operation, and a sharp object was confiscated from one of them.

The suspects were taken to the police station for questioning, after which a decision will be made on whether to bring them before a court for a remand extension. Concurrently, police intend to initiate a business licensing review for the banquet hall, at the conclusion of which the option of ordering the venue's closure will be evaluated.
