The Taib Foundation has awarded the inaugural Taib National Resilience Prize, recognizing individuals and organizations contributing to the national and social strength of Israel. Over 340 nominations were submitted, evaluated by a panel led by foundation founder Haim Taib.

Main Prize and Special Honors

The grand prize was awarded to the "Daf Hadash" association for its economic rehabilitation work supporting families and reservists since the outbreak of the "Swords of Iron" war. Additionally, three special citations were presented for social impact:

  • Raya Strauss received the Taib Social Resilience Award for decades of philanthropic leadership and bridging social gaps.

  • Shaanan Street, lead singer of HaDag Nahash, received the Public Impact Award for fostering cultural tolerance and dialogue.

  • Maj. Gen. (Res.) Doron Almog was honored with the Diaspora Jewry Award for his leadership at the Jewish Agency.

"Israel's strength rests not only on security systems, but on the people, communities, and organizations building social cohesion every day," said Haim Taib.

Foundation Vision

Foundation CEO Tomer Porchi noted that the prize aims to empower initiatives that create lasting change. The Taib Foundation plans to establish the award as an annual tradition supporting Israel's civic backbone.
