The 29-year-shining actress was spotted alongside her partner attending Rosh Hashanah services at a synagogue in Greenwich, Connecticut. Meanwhile, gossip account Deuxmoi reported that sources close to the couple claim Sweeney is considering converting to Judaism to build a Jewish home with Braun.
At this stage, these reports remain strictly in the realm of rumor. Sweeney has not announced any intention to convert, nor is there any official confirmation that she has initiated such a process.
The Synagogue Visit That Sparked Rumors
According to Page Six, Sweeney and Braun attended Rosh Hashanah services together at Temple Sholom in Greenwich. An eyewitness at the venue reported that the pair sat quietly together in the back of the synagogue.
This report aligns with growing signs that the relationship is becoming increasingly serious. Page Six noted that Braun is reportedly eager to marry Sweeney, with sources estimating he could propose in the coming months, though no official engagement has been announced.
A Public Romance
Sweeney and Braun first met during the wedding celebrations of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez in Venice in June 2025, and began dating that September. By April 2026, Braun made the romance Instagram-official, and the couple has since stepped out more openly.
By late August, Sweeney was photographed bonding with Braun's three children, and was later spotted spending time with him and two of the children in Los Angeles. Celebrating Sweeney's 29th birthday, Braun posted a video of the couple dancing and kissing, calling her "the woman who is the exception to every rule."
Scooter Braun's Jewish Identity
Scooter Braun's Jewish identity has taken on a central role in his public and personal life in recent years. Raised in a conservative Jewish home that kept kosher, Braun is the grandson of Holocaust survivors.
In an interview on Jonah Platt's podcast Being Jewish, Braun shared how important it is for him to pass traditions down to his children. "First of all, we celebrate Shabbat. Every Friday night we observe Shabbat, no matter where we are in the world," he said.
Since October 7, Braun has frequently spoken out publicly about Israel and the fight against antisemitism. His efforts have included helping bring the Nova festival exhibition to the United States and raising awareness for the victims and survivors of the massacre.
