WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham Reveals FBI Monitoring Stalkers Amid Safety Concerns
Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham revealed she deals with obsessive stalkers, claiming the FBI is monitoring about 20 potential threats. Her remarks highlight the growing security concerns for WNBA players.

Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham opened up about the dark side of fame, revealing that she deals with obsessive stalkers and claims the FBI is monitoring around 20 individuals who pose a potential threat to her safety. Speaking on Theo Von's podcast, the WNBA star discussed the constant anxiety surrounding her personal security.
"We have a lot of stalkers who follow us. I know I do," Cunningham said. "It's a negative side of things people don't think about, so you want to feel safe." She added that roughly 20 people are currently being monitored by federal law enforcement regarding her security.
Cunningham specifically mentioned Kevin Sing, who is currently in custody in Indiana facing charges of stalking, threats, and harassment. According to court documents, Sing was arrested in June after appearing at the Fever's home arena to deliver a package containing a Guns N' Roses t-shirt sprayed with men's cologne and a personal letter, later escalating to explicit social media messages.
Despite the harrowing experience, Cunningham praised the WNBA for stepping up security measures in recent years. While an FBI spokesperson declined to comment on her claim regarding the monitored individuals, the prosecutor's office emphasized that online harassment and threats will be dealt with severely.
