Leaving your shopping cart unattended while fetching your car can be costly. The Sharon Prosecution Unit filed an indictment at the Kfar Saba Magistrate's Court against a resident of Ariel for stealing groceries left outside a supermarket in Рош-ха-Аин.

According to the indictment, in September 2025, a resident of Рош-ха-Аин shopped at the «Шуферсаль» or Victory supermarket, purchased hundreds of shekels worth of goods, and left the full cart at the parking lot entrance to retrieve her vehicle.

At that moment, the defendant waited nearby in her Renault Fluence, noticed the unattended cart, loaded the groceries into her trunk, and fled the scene.

The prosecution charges her with permanent theft without the owner's consent.
