The SHEMO pastry chain, led by master pastry chef Miki Shemo, is continuing its national expansion by opening two new branches in the north and Sharon regions: at the Mul HaHof Village complex in Hadera and the Mul Zichron complex in Zichron Yaakov. The openings are part of a strategic plan to broaden the chain's nationwide presence and reach new audiences.

Expansion has accelerated since the Green Lantern investment fund acquired a 50% stake in the company in September 2024 at a valuation of 70 million NIS. At the time of the investment, the chain operated 13 branches, and has since grown into major commercial hubs including Ofer Grand Mall in Petah Tikva, Ra'anana, Azrieli Haifa Mall, Azrieli Ayalon Mall, and Ofer Ramat Aviv Mall. The company is already preparing to open additional branches through the end of 2026 and into 2027.

Founder and head chef Miki Shemo commented on the expansion: "Opening the new branches in Hadera and Zichron Yaakov is a significant part of the chain's development and our desire to reach new audiences across the country. We continue to expand out of a commitment to product quality, customer experience, and the family values that have accompanied us since the bakery's inception."

Founded in 1992 by Ruthy and Itzik Shemo, the pastry chain has grown into one of Israel's most recognizable culinary brands, combining family tradition, innovation, and quality under Miki Shemo's leadership.
