Channel 13 political correspondent Michael Shemesh reported a shocking incident at the tomb of the Prophet Samuel near Jerusalem, where vandals desecrated the holy site by targeting national symbols.

Shemesh documented the vandalism on video, revealing that unknown perpetrators tore the traditional curtain covering the tomb, crossed out the word "Israel" with a pen, and attempted to deface the state emblem.

Expressing profound outrage, Shemesh condemned the act on social media, questioning the depth of malice required to desecrate a revered pilgrimage site purely out of hatred for the country. He called upon law enforcement agencies to take decisive action and bring the culprits to justice.
