Police officers used a Taser on a 36-year-old man overnight (Monday to Tuesday) after he allegedly disturbed the peace at a business in Haifa. Following the electrocution, he was evacuated to Rambam Health Care Campus in the city while undergoing resuscitation efforts. Thirty minutes later, doctors were forced to pronounce him dead.

The details and circumstances of this unusual incident are currently under review. Police reported receiving a call overnight about an individual disturbing the public order. The incident took place on Hanita Street in the Neve Sha'anan neighborhood.

"Station officers who arrived to handle the incident noticed a person disturbing the order at the location. To restore public order, the officers were forced to use a Taser," the police statement read. At 00:28, the man was evacuated to the hospital, where his death was pronounced within half an hour.

"The circumstances of the incident have been forwarded to the competent authorities for investigation," the police noted, without providing further details regarding the victim or the specific incident.
