Samsung Targets iPhone Users With Aggressive Foldable Campaign
Samsung has launched a global campaign targeting iPhone users to switch to its Galaxy foldables, as market competition heats up ahead of Apple's anticipated entry.

Samsung has launched an aggressive global advertising campaign targeting iPhone users, aiming to persuade them to switch to its foldable devices. The move comes amid reports of Apple's upcoming entry into the foldable market, a development expected to reshape the mobile industry. Samsung is leveraging its seven years of experience and market leadership to secure its position before the competition intensifies.
According to a CNBC report, the migration rate of iPhone users to the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Flip 8 has doubled compared to the previous generation. Most of these switchers are young adults in their twenties and thirties—a demographic that has traditionally favored Apple's ecosystem. Alongside pricing advantages, Samsung developed a wireless data transfer tool in collaboration with Google, facilitating seamless migration of messages, passwords, and notes without cables.
In its new promotional video, Samsung directly addressed Apple users, stating, "Welcome to the fold, we've been waiting for you for seven years." The company emphasized its hardware advantages and flexible displays, noting that its accumulated expertise delivers the most mature and reliable foldable experience currently on the market.
This escalating rivalry between tech giants is projected to significantly expand the entire foldable device market over the coming year. While Apple's anticipated entry may attract new audiences to the category, Samsung's ability to retain its newly acquired customers will serve as the ultimate test against its rival's brand power.
