The Israeli Innovation
Behind this revolution is the Israeli technology company FreshCUP, which recently crossed the threshold of 10,000 active devices in Israel. To prevent the accumulation of bacteria from shared kitchen sponges, the patented system performs washing and thermo-chemical disinfection at a temperature of 100 degrees combined with steam. The process lasts only 30 seconds and destroys 99.9% of bacteria and viruses.
