Rishon LeZion Festival Unveils Massive Pizza City Pop-Up for Sukkot
Rishon LeZion Festival launches Pizza City during Sukkot, a massive culinary hub featuring top Israeli chefs, Italian treats, workshops, and concerts.
Hol HaMoed Sukkot is set to be exceptionally delicious for visitors in Rishon LeZion as the annual local festival introduces an unprecedented culinary upgrade: Pizza City. This massive pop-up zone at Gan HaMoshava will operate on September 29-30 starting at 18:00 with completely free admission.
The culinary hub, led by the Lotus Group headed by entrepreneur Michael Halfon in collaboration with Chofit Bohadana Kipnis and Adi Ben Dan, will feature three of Israel's top chefs: Tomer Agai, Oren Asido, and Avi Biton. Each will run a dedicated stand offering unique, personally interpreted pizzas crafted exclusively for the festival.
Alongside the chef stalls, the venue will deliver a full Italian experience complete with cocktail bars, Italian gelatos, tiramisu, kids' workshops, and a professional competition to crown Israel's best pizzaiolo.
This gastronomic extravaganza is part of a broader citywide festival offering vibrant performances. Audiences can enjoy Amir Benyon hosting Nissim Sarusi, Harel Skaat hosting Gali Atari, and a special tribute production titled 75 Is No Joke honoring Yardena Arazi's 75th birthday with Rotem Abuhab, Alma Zack, Miki Kam, Chana Laslau, and Odia Koren.
