The iconic Israeli satirical comedy series 'Polishuk' is making a grand comeback as a micro-drama on the Keshet 12 V1 app ahead of the upcoming elections.
Almost everyone in Israel remembers the satirical comedy-drama series 'Polishuk', which offered a cynical and turbulent peek behind the scenes of Israeli politics. Created and written by Samuel Hasfari, the show originally premiered on May 31, 2009, airing three seasons and 39 episodes until 2015.
Now, the iconic series is making a major comeback. All the beloved episodes are returning as micro-dramas and will be broadcast on the V1 app by Keshet 12. Ahead of the elections, the app team announced the exciting news with the tagline: 'The ballot boxes open, the political deals return.'
The legendary comedy is back in a micro-drama format, bringing back all the intrigues, plots, and political mess in bite-sized episodes.
At the center of the plot is Rubik Polishuk, a lackluster and unremarkable Member of Knesset who is suddenly appointed as the 'Minister for Social Advancement' and finds himself drowning in a sea of spins, scheming advisors, and coalition maneuverings.
