The Israeli startup Catch has announced the completion of a $5 million seed funding round and its exit from stealth mode. The company has developed an autonomous AI agent designed to manage the administrative burden of executives, including coordinating meetings, handling email, booking travel, and managing ongoing tasks.

Catch was founded by Nir Sabato, a former investor at Entrée Capital, who serves as CEO, and Yoav Ramon, who serves as CTO. The company currently employs six people at its offices in Tel Aviv. The system connects to organizational platforms and learns the manager's work patterns and preferences within minutes, without the need for writing prompts, defining complex workflows, or learning a new tool.

The system operates proactively and is capable of making independent decisions and performing tasks from start to finish via email, Slack, text messages, or phone calls. For example, if the system identifies that a flight has been booked without a hotel room, it will check accommodation prices at the manager's preferred hotel and offer to make the booking.

To address privacy and information security challenges involved in accessing sensitive management data, the system was developed from the outset in accordance with the SOC 2 standard. The technological architecture is based on split agents, where each dedicated agent is limited to a single task and is exposed only to the data required to perform it. In addition, information is anonymized and used to train open-source models using supervised learning and reinforcement learning.

The product is currently available for use by managers in growth-stage startups and established companies, and the funding will be allocated to accelerate technology development and market expansion.
