A prominent Israeli reality television star, known for his participation in "Big Brother", was released to house arrest on Wednesday following a court hearing regarding allegations of domestic violence against his partner. The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court rejected the police request to extend his detention by six days, ordering instead a week of house arrest and a strict no-contact order with the complainant.

The suspect was initially taken into custody during the weekend following an incident that reportedly resulted in the victim suffering a broken limb. Associates of the couple indicated that the altercation involved severe physical violence, leaving the victim deeply distressed.

Ahead of the court ruling, leaked text messages exchanged between the suspect and the former partner shed light on the turbulent nature of their relationship. In the correspondence, the reality star used abusive language, demanding that she leave and insulting her character, while the woman accused him of persistent aggression, stating that no medical treatment or medication would alter his violent behavior.

Defense attorneys Elad Peleg and Oded Streicher welcomed the court's decision to release their client. In a joint statement, the legal team announced their intention to push for the closure of the investigation, alleging that the complaint was fabricated and had caused severe damage to the suspect's reputation.
