Rani Rahav on the $80 million exit: "The land of unlimited possibilities"

PR expert and public figure Rani Rahav offered enthusiastic compliments following a report aired about high-tech entrepreneur Maor Shlomo, who led a massive $80 million exit. Shlomo founded the company Base44 alone and became a multi-millionaire when he sold it to Wix.

On social media, Rahav published a post in which he wrote:

"Maor Shlomo is proof that Israel is the land of unlimited possibilities. Kudos to the guy! After 400 days of reserve duty since October 7, he deserves every possible success. I salute you! And well done to Wix for enabling this success, and it is huge for the Israeli economy. A charming, moving, and humble guy. Wow, how sad about his mother."

Rahav's response came following an interview Shlomo gave to Dana Weiss on "Weekend News" on Channel 12, where he shared insights on the changes brought about by artificial intelligence (AI). Shlomo, a graduate of Unit 8200 and one of the founders of the company Explorium, became a symbol of the "Solo Founder" trend after he developed, by himself, without employees and without raising capital, a system for building applications using natural language.

During the interview, Shlomo presented a firm position regarding higher education in the current era:

"I would not send my children to get a degree. I would send them to gain experience, to try to build something."

He clarified that AI is expected to cause an "earthquake" in the job market, and recommended that young people develop cross-functional skills that combine technology, business, and marketing instead of deep specialization in a single field.
