A new architectural landmark has emerged on the Tel Aviv skyline in the Ramat HaHayal high-tech district, featuring an unusual oval-shaped office tower at 16 Raoul Wallenberg Street. Developed by YBOX and Tidhar, the 17-story tower breaks away from the rectangular geometry typical of the surrounding business area, combining an aluminum-clad curved shell with glass curtain walls that reveal the building's internal structure.

The project stems from a collaboration between two leading architectural firms: Urbach Halevy Architects, which led the overall design and above-ground concept, and BLK Architects, which designed the subterranean parking and engineering infrastructure. Inspired by Fabergé eggs, the architects sought to create a sculptural jewel in an urban environment, balancing iconic aesthetics with the strict functional demands of a modern commercial workspace.

Engineering Complexities and Upper Levels

Behind the building's elegant silhouette lies a complex engineering challenge. The tower includes 17 office floors, three technical levels housing air conditioning and maintenance systems, a commercial ground floor, and a rectangular podium. Integrating these heavy electro-mechanical systems while preserving the continuous oval contour required meticulous structural planning and waterproofing details.

Street Integration and Interior Design

The ground level was designed as an open, welcoming public space featuring commercial areas that interact with the surrounding urban fabric. Landscape architecture was handled by Tzur Wolf, while interior designer Alex Meitlis crafted the main lobby. The building has completed construction and is currently undergoing occupancy, with Reshet 13 slated to occupy several floors.
