Ramat Gan Man Indicted for Rosh Hashanah Café Break-In in Tel Aviv
A 39-year-old Ramat Gan resident was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Tel Aviv café during Rosh Hashanah. An indictment and detention request were filed today.
A 39-year-old resident of Ramat Gan was arrested on suspicion of breaking into a Tel Aviv café during Rosh Hashanah, stealing cash and property, and fleeing the scene. An indictment and a request to detain him until the end of legal proceedings were filed against him today.
The incident took place during the holiday when police received a report regarding a break-in at a boutique café located in a commercial center in central Tel Aviv. According to the suspicion, the business's door was forced open, and money and property were stolen.
Police officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon region launched an investigation and operations to locate the suspect. Forensic investigators from the Yarkon region arrived at the café and collected evidence from the scene.
The investigation revealed that the suspect arrived at the café at night, kicked the wooden door, and broke its frame. He then allegedly entered the business and stole about 700 shekels in cash along with additional property.
As part of the investigative efforts, officers managed to locate the suspect shortly after the break-in and arrest him. He was transferred for questioning at the Lev Tel Aviv station. Upon completion of the investigation, the Tel Aviv District Prosecution filed an indictment against the 39-year-old, alongside a request to order his detention until the conclusion of the legal proceedings.
