Following the Iron Swords War, Israel is showcasing a wide range of combat-proven weaponry at the annual AUSA defense exhibition in Washington. Rafael Advanced Defense Systems has unveiled the new SPIKE MCLU2 system, tailored to US military procurement needs.

Air Defense and Precision Strike Systems

Rafael presented a full-scale model of Sky Sonic, a system designed to intercept hypersonic missiles. Alongside it, the multi-layered air defense array features the Tamir interceptor from the Iron Dome system and Stunner from David's Sling. To counter unmanned aerial systems, Rafael displayed the Iron Beam and Lite Beam high-energy laser systems, alongside the Hunter Eagle and Light Hunter interceptors.

Rafael brings to AUSA 2026 a broad portfolio of combat-proven systems across air and missile defense, precision strike, ground maneuver, and intelligence, alongside next-generation capabilities like Sky Sonic.

In precision strikes, the SPIKE MCLU2 allows precise launching of SPIKE LR2 missiles from existing US Army TOW launchers without modifying the gunner interface. Additionally, SPIKE NLOS is showcased in the MLRPSM configuration for armored vehicles, complemented by the fast loitering munition L-SPIKE 4X.

Ground Maneuver and Intelligence

For ground maneuver, Rafael unveiled a full-scale model of the Samson RWS All-in-One remote weapon station, combining a 30mm cannon, dual SPIKE LR2 launchers, and the Trophy active protection system. The Iron Wasp, a miniaturized drone interceptor, was also introduced to protect armored vehicles from FPV drones.

In the aerial domain, Rafael presented the MicroLite electro-optical and infrared sensor system, alongside Sigma, an intelligence system that aggregates and analyzes RF sensor data to generate real-time battlefield awareness.
