Chairman of the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, MK Boaz Bismuth, revealed in the first episode of the new C14 web program, "On the way to the ballot box with Dana Varon," an especially personal and moving moment from his life. During the interview, Bismuth told of the surprising phone call his son received from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, just minutes before he entered a complex open-heart surgery.

Bismuth shared candidly about his son Dudi, who has undergone two open-heart surgeries and three catheterizations in his life, noting that he underwent the first surgery when he was a baby of only three days old. According to him, years later, moments before he entered the second, complex surgery, a surprising phone call arrived from the Prime Minister, who asked to speak directly with the child and strengthen his spirit in the difficult moments.

During the interview, the Knesset member found it difficult to hide his great emotion when he recalled the conversation that lasted about ten minutes, in which Netanyahu addressed his son and asked to encourage him before entering the operating room. The host Dana Varon noticed the tears in Bismuth's eyes and noted the great emotion on the set, while the committee chairman replied simply that it was about his son and the treasure of his life.
