The Israel Police announced today (Thursday) that following lengthy negotiations with the Ministry of Finance, led by Police Commissioner Inspector General Dani Levy, significant agreements have been reached to improve the wages of police officers across several units, following a decade of efforts to advance the issue.

Under the reached agreements, Border Police headquarters personnel in Judea and Samaria will be rewarded with Activity Level Alef, in recognition of the complexity and uniqueness of service in the region. Crime scene investigators will be elevated from group 5 to group 6. Traffic accident investigation officers secured an agreement for a monthly pension payment of 2,000 NIS, including budgetary pension and bridging calculations. Identification officers secured an agreement regarding the status of existing officers at Activity Level Alef, alongside a new policing activity level and a monthly pension addition of 2,000 NIS for newly recruited mobile laboratory identification officers moving forward.

Alongside this, staff work continues to advance the wage increase for Israel Police motorcyclists. According to the police, the agreements were achieved following intensive staff work and professional negotiations with the Ministry of Finance, led by the Human Resources Directorate, the Salary Planning Department, and the Resources Division of the Planning Directorate, reflecting recognition of the professionalism, responsibility, and contribution of officers to public security.

Police Commissioner Inspector General Dani Levy stated: "After a decade of efforts, we have succeeded in bringing significant tidings to our police officers. This is an important achievement that expresses recognition of the professional work, heavy responsibility, and dedication of Israel Police personnel."
