Bank Leumi Extends Tailor Made Market-Making Program on TASE
Bank Leumi extends its Tailor Made market-making program on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by a year following strong liquidity gains and a 50% surge in daily trading volume.

Bank Leumi has announced a one-year extension of its customized market-making program (Tailor Made) on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. The decision follows a successful inaugural year that showed significant improvements in liquidity and trading quality for the bank's stock.
The Tailor Made program is designed to enhance securities liquidity through targeted market-making activities. This approach deepens market capacity, improves trading conditions, and increases the stock's attractiveness to institutional and international investors.
Data from the program's first year reveals a roughly 50% increase in Leumi's average daily continuous trading volume. Volume surged from about 115 million NIS per day prior to the program to an average of around 170 million NIS over the past 12 months.
In comparison, other banking stocks not participating in the program saw a roughly 35% increase in continuous trading volume over the same period. Meanwhile, Leumi's total trading volume grew by about 40%, while foreign investor participation jumped from 36% to over 43%.
