A synagogue located in the 19th arrondissement of Paris was vandalized overnight amid a wave of public property damage, looting, and attacks on police stations by rioters participating in nationwide protests across France.

While authorities have not officially named the synagogue, social media footage indicates the target was a small Chabad house on Simon Bolivar Avenue near the Buttes-Chaumont park. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made thus far.

Paris is recovering from a violent 24-hour period of severe unrest and extensive damage to state institutions and private businesses. Numerous shops selling food, apparel, luxury goods, and electronics were looted across the country, often far from authorized protests.

Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated shortly before midnight that the price nationwide would be heavy, pledging support for those who lost their livelihoods. Minister of Commerce Serge Papin also assured affected business owners that the Ministry of Economy is fully mobilized to assist them.
