Panic in Hamas: "Throw away your phones, they are listening to you!"

Against the backdrop of continued targeted killings in the Gaza Strip, Hamas's internal security apparatus warned its terrorists today against using phones and called for them to be discarded.

"Oh guard, your mobile phone allows the enemy to locate your position, listen to your conversations, and film your surroundings. Get rid of the mobile phone immediately to protect yourself and your brothers," was written in the directive published on the "Al-Haris" channel on behalf of the apparatus.

The message was accompanied by an illustration of a broken phone being thrown into a trash can. In addition, the apparatus called to "increase awareness and vigilance," and not to underestimate circumstances that could turn terrorists into the target of the next attack. Among other things, terrorists were advised to avoid using social networks and to take safety measures so as "not to give an opportunity" to Israel.

At the same time, Hamas continues to instill fear and terror in the population of the Strip and announced over the weekend about several Gazans who were sentenced to death after being accused of collaborating with Israel. The announcement stated that "the path of betrayal begins with one step and ends in shame."

Earlier today, Palestinian media reported on strikes in the central camps in the Gaza Strip. According to the reports, at least two dead and eight wounded were found at the scenes. The Director-General of the Hamas Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir al-Bursh, complained that Israel "continues to escalate attacks on Gaza and violate the ceasefire agreement."
