Israeli Producer Omer Fedi Behind Karol G's Latin American Megahit
Israeli songwriter Omer Fedi co-wrote and produced Karol G's massive Latin American hit "BbY WOW", which is topping charts across the region and climbing US Billboard lists.
Latin America's biggest current hit is undeniably "BbY WOW" by Colombian star Karol G, featuring Judeline and Roséwsky. Behind its writing and production stands an Israeli creator: the globally acclaimed pop songwriter Omer Fedi.
Fedi co-wrote and produced the track alongside the performers and Puerto Rican producer Tainy. The song currently dominates the number-one spot on hit charts across Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and beyond. In the United States, it reached a highly respectable seventh place on the charts.
Fedi, who is 26 years old, previously worked on a string of massive global hits, including "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" by Lil Nas X, "Unholy" by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, and "Stay" by Justin Bieber and The Kid LAROI. He also produced Machine Gun Kelly's pop-punk album "Tickets to My Downfall", received six Grammy nominations, and previously dated pop star Addison Rae. Locally in Israel, he collaborated with Odaya on her album "HaShem Yazor".
