The media personality shared that her regular Friday broadcast was cancelled, leaving her with free time that she chose to spend in the kitchen. Amidst the bubbling pots and rising steam, she gave an intriguing glimpse of her Shabbat preparations.

Media personality and television host Ofira Asayag often shares her lifestyle on social media. Balancing studio work, recordings, and live broadcasts with her family life, she makes sure not to neglect her home. This Friday, she took advantage of her free time to prepare delicacies for the Shabbat table.
In a series of stories uploaded to her Instagram page, she gave an exclusive look at her kitchen. Every Friday, she appears on Channel 12 for her weekly program "Ofira, Ohana and Sari," but with no broadcast this week, she invested even more effort into her cooking. "When there is no broadcast tonight, I invest a million times more in cooking," she wrote over a video of one of her steaming pots.
Among the bubbling pots and mouth-watering aromas, she shared a glimpse of her Shabbat table:
"There is nothing like my matbucha," she said, presenting the boiling dish. "What a couscous I made," she added with a hamsa emoji, showing the grains perfectly crumbled. "The soup for the couscous is amazing," she noted while showing a pot of bubbling soup. She also revealed a fish dish, cooked vegetables, and other delicacies.

As previously reported, she recently addressed the uncertainty prevailing in Israel:
"US President Donald Trump drove me crazy. What about you? I barely managed to sleep last night. There is a war, there is no war—I swear, I packed a suitcase, prepared the beds in the shelters, and told the children: we are not going out to walk the dogs, we are not visiting friends, everyone stays at home. There is a war."
