Odia Pinto breaks silence: on the Yitzhak Rabin storm and future plans
Reality star Odia Pinto opens up in a candid interview about life after 'Power Couple,' her husband's sensitive nature, and why she anticipated the public backlash following her blunder regarding Yitzhak Rabin.
Behind the scenes of a shoot at her home in Moshav Alma, reality star and social media personality Odia Pinto shared an intimate look at her life. Between working on a new cookbook in collaboration with Castro Home, Pinto discussed her relationship with her husband, Elior, and her experience on Channel 13’s "Power Couple."
Pinto spoke enthusiastically about the show, noting that it allowed viewers to see the unexpected sides of her husband’s personality:
"He can be incredibly romantic. He writes me notes and hides them under the pillow—it’s beautiful. And he is a very, very sensitive man. Many people didn't know that before, but now they understand that Elior is a man like no other in the world. I am very lucky."
During the conversation, Pinto addressed more complex topics, including the storm surrounding the Yitzhak Rabin affair. When asked if she expected such a public reaction, she confirmed she did. She explained that she realized her mistake immediately after filming—she recognized the historical figure but couldn't recall the name, and she knew it would cause a stir. Despite this, she remains open to returning to the screen for future projects.
Even after the cameras stopped rolling, the bonds formed on the show remain. Pinto maintains close contact with Asi and Adi, Ron B, Chen and his wife, and Hani Nahmias, despite the incident involving Yitzhak Rabin.
Reflecting on her future dreams, Odia chose to express gratitude for her current path:
"I have plenty of dreams, but I can't pinpoint just one. Thank God, the Almighty has given me more than I could have ever dreamed of. Things are happening in their own time."
