Night Pizza Expands to Shenkin Street: A Culinary Journey in Tel Aviv
Tel Aviv's beloved Night Pizza expands to Shenkin Street with a charming new bistro concept, offering creative pizzas, fresh seafood, and vibrant neighborhood dining.

Night Pizza at Levinsky Market has long been one of Tel Aviv's most beloved and sought-after pizzerias, renowned not only for its pies but also for its adjoining artisan bakery. When the neighboring building collapsed during the April escalation with Iran, the owners rallied public support, restored the site, and triumphantly returned. Almost simultaneously, they expanded by launching a new concept on Nafcha Street, right beside the legendary Shenkin Garden.
A New Bistro Chapter on Nafcha Street
Strictly speaking, this new venue operates as a bistro rather than a traditional pizzeria, featuring a modest selection of pizzas. Overlooking the iconic neighborhood garden, the space delights visitors with an elegant interior and a charming wooden terrace. Dining here offers a lively neighborhood atmosphere, blending casual comfort with culinary flair.
"We opened our meal with a tuna ceviche featuring green grapes and chopped chives—deliciously fresh, even if the portion feels modest for its 92 shekel price tag."
Culinary Highlights and Surprising Flavors
Fortunately, a generous 20% happy hour discount applied to the entire menu, softening the blow of an otherwise typical Tel Aviv bill. The leafy green salad delivered a refreshing crunch, loaded with crisp lettuce, generous cubes of mango, and thick shavings of parmesan. The main course featured a sublime sea bass fillet baked en papillote, wrapped in zucchini slices and served alongside a meticulously prepped fennel and cucumber salad.
Of course, skipping pizza entirely at a pizzeria outlet would be a crime. Opting for a bold choice from the menu, the table sampled a creative pie topped with peaches, goat cheese, mozzarella, rosemary, and hot honey, served alongside arugula and vibrant green dips. Dessert brought a delightful twist with roasted peach crepes Suzette paired with crème fraîche, concluding an unexpectedly wonderful culinary journey on Shenkin Street.
