Negev High School Principal Arrested on Suspicion of Attacking Student

A high school principal in the Negev was arrested on suspicion of attacking and biting a student during a violent brawl on school grounds. According to the investigation, the fight also involved the principal's son and nephew, who clashed with another student before the principal intervened.
The principal strongly denies the allegations, claiming he was actually the victim of the attack. His defense states that he had already contacted the Israel Police a day prior to the incident to report concerns regarding the student's behavior.
Following the altercation, the principal's son and nephew were suspended from the school. The principal himself was released to house arrest after being questioned, and a police-supervised confrontation between him and the student is scheduled for the coming days.
According to the Israel Police, officers from the Ayarot station arrived at the scene, gathered testimonies from all involved parties, and initiated a formal investigation. The two other participants in the brawl were barred from the school until October 15.
