A cargo aircraft operating on behalf of Amazon Prime Air overran the runway upon landing at Miami International Airport on Sunday, coming to a halt outside the airfield perimeter and catching fire. Footage shared on social media showed intense flames and a thick column of black smoke rising from the aircraft.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the aircraft involved was a Boeing 767-300 operated by 21 Air as Flight 7598. The flight had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and slid off the runway at approximately 2:00 PM local time.

The plane came to a stop at the northwestern edge of the airport, close to an adjacent roadway. Images from the scene showed two trucks near the aircraft. While initial reports suggested the plane crossed the road and struck vehicles, this detail has not been officially confirmed by authorities.
