Meta Launches Meta One Subscription Service for Platforms and AI Tools

Meta has announced the launch of Meta One, a new subscription service for Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Meta AI, featuring paid tiers for individual users, creators, and businesses. According to the company, standard use of Meta platforms and Meta AI will remain free, with the new plans designed for users seeking advanced AI tools, customisation options, and professional features.

The service includes more than 50 tools and options and will roll out gradually worldwide, including in Israel. Meta noted that pricing, available tools, and features may vary by country, platform, and account type.

Individual Subscription Tiers

For individual users, Meta is initially introducing three separate plans: Instagram Plus for 11.99 ILS per month, Facebook Plus for 11.99 ILS per month, and WhatsApp Plus for 8.99 ILS per month. These individual services are already available in Israel, with Instagram Plus having launched last June and WhatsApp Plus in May.

Instagram Plus includes additional fonts for messages and Stories, message previews, and alerts when specific users view a Story. Facebook Plus offers customisation options for Facebook and Messenger, enhanced performance data for Reels, and special reactions for posts and Reels. WhatsApp Plus features custom themes and icons, special effect stickers, and the ability to pin more chats. Meta plans to introduce additional features to WhatsApp Plus in the future, including backup storage for chats and media, and scheduled times for muting or hiding chats.

In addition to separate plans, Meta is offering two multi-platform bundles combined with expanded Meta AI usage:

Core: Priced at 24.99 ILS per month, this tier includes all features of Instagram Plus, Facebook Plus, and WhatsApp Plus, alongside broader Meta AI capabilities, such as generating more images and videos using Meta AI, editing Instagram photos with Restyle, and expanded sound effects.
Premium: Priced at 60.99 ILS per month, this tier includes everything offered in Core, alongside significantly higher usage limits for Meta AI creative tools and platform features.

Plans for Creators and Businesses

Creators and businesses will be offered tiers equipped with advanced account management tools, including an upgraded profile display highlighting business information, a more prominent follow button on Reels, and automated follow invitations sent to users who have interacted with content.

A core component of these business plans is the Meta Business Agent, an artificial intelligence agent functioning as a customer service and sales representative within chats. Operating inside Messenger, WhatsApp, and ad-driven messaging, the agent provides round-the-clock automated responses.

The agent autonomously learns from existing business assets—including Facebook and Instagram posts, product catalogs, FAQ pages, and company websites. Furthermore, business owners can input dedicated data, define tone and voice, and correct answers as needed. The Business Agent can handle inquiries regarding business hours and locations, detail products and pricing, recommend suitable items, collect lead details, and deliver initial customer support. When conversations become overly complex or sensitive, the agent transfers the inquiry directly to the business owner.

The Meta Business Agent will be available across all four business tiers:

Essential (starting from 53.99 ILS per month): Includes presence-building tools, broader use of the Meta Business Agent for WhatsApp responses, a verified blue badge, a verified WhatsApp Business channel, and impersonation protection (subject to completing the verification process).
Advanced (starting from 199 ILS per month): Adds Story scheduling up to 30 days in advance, link attachments for posts and Reels, detailed audience and content analytics, and team member access without shared passwords. Additionally, it enables connecting WhatsApp Business to multiple devices, sending proactive customer messages, and utilizing the Meta Business Agent for a higher volume of inquiries.
Expert (starting from 599 ILS per month) and Max (starting from 1,999 ILS per month): Designed for high-volume operations requiring maximum utilization of Meta One tools and capabilities. The Max tier also grants unlimited access to human support representatives for account-related assistance, including handling account bans—though Meta clarifies this does not guarantee the removal of a ban.

Looking ahead, Meta plans to integrate additional capabilities into the service, notably within Edits and the company's AI glasses. The rollout comes amid recent complaints from users in Israel regarding unjustified account bans and a lack of human support channels across WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
