Israeli Comedian Matan Peretz Recalls Living in His Car Amid Hard Times
Comedian Matan Peretz revealed in a TV interview that he lived in his car for five months due to financial struggles, driven by pride rather than asking his family for help.

Comedian Matan Peretz opened up about a difficult period in his life when he lived out of his car for nearly six months due to financial struggles. During his appearance on Rafi Reshef's show "Intimi" on Channel 12, Peretz shared details about sleeping with just a thin blanket and a pillow.
Reflecting on the ordeal, Peretz admitted that pride stopped him from calling his father for help, knowing his family would have welcomed him back instantly. He chose instead to pursue his ambition through a YouTube project with social media personality Sahar Kalizo, despite his father warning him that the business venture would fail.
