Mahsanei HaShuk has joined the ongoing competition for smartphone sales among Israeli supermarket chains, offering the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models at significantly reduced prices. However, the promotion comes with a strict condition: it is valid exclusively at the HaSafan branch in Eilat and requires an additional purchase of at least 99 shekels at the same location.

Pricing Details and Conditions

According to the promotion terms, the iPhone 18 Pro with 256GB of storage is priced at 3,690 shekels, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max with the same storage capacity is offered at 4,299 shekels. These devices are parallel imports featuring Hebrew support and eSIM technology only, with no physical SIM card slot. The chain states that the units come with a one-year warranty serviced by DCS laboratories.

Market Comparison

A comparison with competing supermarket chains highlights the scale of the discount:

  • Osher Ad: Offers the iPhone 18 Pro 256GB between 3,999 and 4,490 shekels depending on the branch.

  • Victory: Sells the model for 4,399 shekels with a limit of one device per customer.

  • Yohananof: Lists the device at 4,250 shekels, also limited to one per customer.

At 3,690 shekels, Mahsanei HaShuk's offer is 309 shekels lower than Osher Ad's minimum price, 560 shekels cheaper than Yohananof, and 709 shekels below Victory. For the Pro Max model, priced at 4,299 shekels, the gap reaches 900 shekels compared to Victory (5,199 shekels) and 951 shekels compared to Yohananof (5,250 shekels).

Consumers considering the purchase should carefully evaluate not just the shelf price, but also the storage capacity, eSIM limitations, warranty terms, and geographical restrictions before making a decision.
