Oded Kattash Reacts

"First win and it looks like something clicked today," summed up head coach Oded Kattash. "We had the right energy. After a terrible start to the EuroLeague, we've been trying for days to build some confidence. I am happy with the sense of urgency we played with. We were very aggressive... I am also very glad we managed to get good minutes from many players."

In the post-game press conference, Kattash added: "A big win for us, we needed this for our confidence. I loved how we played from the first moment, we were aggressive. Yam Madar always influences the game, he had an excellent match, but it was a team effort."

Yam Madar on the Turnaround

"We didn't start the season as planned, especially in the EuroLeague," added MVP Yam Madar. "I think the important thing is to really take this game, gain confidence from it, and move forward. We have a busy schedule ahead, and this is a step in the right direction."

Next week, Maccabi Tel Aviv faces a tough two-game road trip in Spain, facing Barcelona and Valencia.
