LUMAGICA Light Festival Returns to Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park
The international lighting festival LUMAGICA returns to Yarkon Park on November 12 with over 3 million LEDs, a European winter market, and stunning new multimedia displays.
The international lighting and multimedia experience LUMAGICA, created by MK Illumination, is returning to Yarkon Park - Ganei Yehoshua starting November 12. Following the massive success of its inaugural season, the festival is back with a brand-new thematic world featuring over 3 million LED lights, water shows, music, and art, alongside an authentic European winter market.
Behind the Magic and Production
This year's park was designed under the leadership of light artists Anat and Sivan Peretz, in collaboration with the production teams of Ganei Yehoshua, the Tel Aviv Box Office, artist Misha Anton, and the company's international design team. The production process took nearly a year, involving work across four manufacturing plants in six countries and the shipping of approximately 15 tons of equipment in 12 containers. Following last year's triumph, LUMAGICA Tel Aviv was named one of the network's top ten lighting parks in Europe.
"Behind a single magical evening lies nearly year-long work, countless sketches, and complex logistics. LUMAGICA is much more than a festival of lights — we want to create moments people take home with them," said Anat Peretz, CEO of MK Illumination Israel.
New Highlights and Attractions
Among the standout new features this season are a glowing field of about 30,000 custom-made tulip flowers designed specifically for the Tel Aviv display, kinetic elements, and a massive water show set against a 30-meter-wide and 10-meter-high water screen accompanied by original video art and music. Alongside the glowing exhibits, a European-style winter market will operate on-site, offering two large food zones, diverse culinary stalls, and carnival game areas.
Ticket prices are set at 109 shekels, but major sponsors are offering exclusive discounts. Members of the "Hever" club will enjoy a special price of 49 shekels per ticket, exclusive pre-opening days, and subsidized food vouchers. Additionally, Cal is offering its customers tickets for 59 shekels, alongside a special light display featuring its signature caracal mascot.
