He alleged that the actress choked Maceo during an argument over a virtual reality headset. While Berry has vehemently denied the claims, explaining that they were merely playing around, the court issued a temporary restraining order and restricted her custody arrangements pending further hearings.
"I would never harm my child," Berry stated in response to the severe accusations, maintaining her innocence throughout the ongoing legal proceedings.

In the latest legal filings, Martinez asserts that Maceo captured a photograph of the actress following the alleged incident to ensure his version of events would be believed, fearing his previous complaints were ignored. Furthermore, Martinez accuses Berry of misrepresenting medical facts to the court regarding their son's treatment, while noting that Berry has completed a court-mandated parenting class ahead of their scheduled court appearance.
